The workshop will be held in the auditorium at the Natural History Museum of Denmark / Geologisk Museum, Øster Voldgade 5-7, in the center of Copenhagen, just outside the central pedestrian shopping and entertainment area. Travel

Upon arrival in Copenhagen Airport the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to get to the center of Copenhagen is by Metro (15 minutes). You can buy tickets from the machines (payment with credit cards possible) or the ticket counters in the arrivals hall in Terminal 3. To get to Copenhagen center you will need a ticket valid for 3 zones (DKK 36), which is valid for both the Metro, busses and most regular trains with changes within 1 hour allowed. A 10-trip card for 3 zones costs DKK 200 - and can also be used for a group traveling together (you will need to stamp the card once per person in one of the machines before entering the Metro). The Metro departs every few minutes from the arrivals hall (up the escalators in the end of the hall) and it takes about 15 minutes to the center of town. You can take any of the Metro trains (direction of Vanløse). To get directly to the Natural History Museum you can most easily get off at Nørreport (see map linked above). In addition to the Metro there are also regular trains from the airport to Nørreport Station (same tickets as for the metro).

For anyone arriving at Copenhagen central station (Hovedbanegården), you can take a local, "S-tog", or regular train to Nørreport Station (2 or 1 stops, respectively).

From Nørreport Station it is a five minutes walk along the Botanical Garden to get to the Natural History Museum. Upon arrival at the museum you can find the entrance where it says "Reception" in the far left corner of the courtyard (see map).
